Palmer Hamilton's PHabLAB spaces are innovative project-based learning (PBL) environments that incorporate exploration in digital fabrication, creative thinking, collaboration, and problem solving. All academic disciplines can leverage a PHabLAB to teach STEAM fundamentals and career & technical skills.
Palmer Hamilton has been a leader in designing cafeterias, libraries and media centers for educational institutions since the 1950s. We’ve tackled countless successful school projects and grown with the industry as it has evolved. In 2018, we developed the PHabLAB division, specifically to focus on the need for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) learning environments.

Our Experience with School Funding
Our industry experience means collaborating with select organizations offering funding to educational institutions. Schools can use the National Cooperative Leasing (NCL) to secure financial support. This independently-owned organization gives reliable financing solutions for educational and government agencies.
We have also been following ESSER funding and have accumulated expertise to share.

At Palmer Hamilton, we have established a solid relationship with some of the best special programs, software, and hardware vendors. A partial list includes INVENTOR CLOUD Learning Resources, Full Spectrum Lasers, Tormach Routers, Dremel 3D Printers, and SparkFun Coding Kits. Our collaboration allows us to stay ahead of the latest software and hardware to provide top-level service for our customers before, during and after installation. We also work closely with the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) with training opportunities for your students and local businesses.

Quick and Seamless Installation
Our school experience enables us to create and install institutions' projects with little or no disruption of daily activities. We can coordinate with facility staff to establish the PHaLab project in just 2-3 days. Working with all departments and school staff insures coordination in software, hardware, electrical and HVAC systems.

Apart from offering our first-class design and furnishing services to educational institutions, our solutions benefit local businesses looking for particular skill sets. We serve multiple industries within the local community, particularly manufacturing.
