Business Development Manager, ESports

We are seeking a driven, business minded, and revenue-generating business professional responsible for developing, creating, and supporting sales opportunities

Position Objective:   We are seeking a driven, business minded, and revenue generating business professional to be responsible for developing, creating, and supporting sales opportunities within Palmer Hamilton’s Esports product offering. The BDM’s mission is to deliver turnkey Esports labs for the K-12 market. Responsibilities will include market research, program development, go-to-market strategy execution, daily operations, and continued strategic development. The results-oriented individual will be responsible for the overall program sales and working closely with the management team on development to hit organizational goals and interact cross functionally with members of the company to achieve desired outcome.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform market research to thoroughly understand target customer.
  • Develop, launch, and oversee comprehensive business development strategies.
  • Analyze competitors’ strategies and offerings and determine a competitive advantage.
  • Overall sales performance through proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop, establish, and maintain partnerships with key industry stakeholders or sales channels.
  • Negotiate contracts or terms and conditions with potential business partners.
  • Act as a liaison between industry influences to promote brand awareness and collaboration opportunities.
  • Integrate with appropriate internal teams on a go-to-market strategies and sales training.

Qualifications, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field required.
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Prior experience working in sales, business development, or marketing positions with a track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Prior experience in developing new business initiatives and achieving target goals.
  • Experience in esports, gaming or furniture industry is required.
  • Proficient communication and project management skills, team player and ability to multi-task required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
