Robotic Welder Operator – 1st and 2nd Shift

Seeking someone to set-up, operate and tend robotic welder that fabricates metal components while exceeding established production rates while manufacturing a quality product.

1st Shift – Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00am to 4:30pm

Position Functions:

  • Set-up, operate and tend robotic welder.
  • Enter operating instructions into computer to adjust and start welding machine.
  • Load and unload work pieces into weld machine.
  • Align and clamp work pieces into fixtures
  • Correct problems by adjusting controls and/or instructions.
  • Read blueprints, production schedules and work orders to determine job specifications.
  • Responsible for quality control and inspection of materials produced by this function.
  • Responsible for producing at the established production rates.
  • Movement of materials within department using power and manual equipment.

 

Position Expectations:

  • Must be able to watch for defects in raw materials and raise quality issues to team leader immediately.
  • Required to participate in communication to co-workers, team leader, and supervisor in a timely manner as issues arise.
  • Willingness to be a team player and perform various other jobs in department as management indicates.
  • Able to work with all members of the department to ensure established department production rates and schedules are achieved.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge preferred in a TCP setting software.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc based controls/teach pendant desirable.
  • Must have 1-2 years of MIG welding experience, preferably in a production setting.
  • Ability to read and apply blueprint specifications.
  • Intermediate and above math skills.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral
